The next edition of HAIS 2012 conference will held in Slamanca (Spain) in October 2012.

Proceedings of HAIS 2011 conferences are now available on line:

The 6th International Conference on Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems will be held in Wroclaw, Poland, in May of 2011. It is organized together with the 7 International Conference on Computer Recognition Systems CORES by the Department of Systems and Computer Networks, Wroclaw University of Technology.

Extended and improved versions of selected papers will be included in a special issue of:

1. Computational Intelligence
2. Expert Systems
3. Neurocomputing
4. Journal of Applied Logic

Hybrid intelligent systems are becoming popular due to their capabilities in handling many real world complex problems, involving imprecision, uncertainty, vagueness and high-dimensionality. They provide us with the opportunity to use both, our knowledge and raw data to solve problems in a more interesting and promising way. This multidisciplinary research field is in continuous expansion in the artificial intelligence research community. HAIS 2011 provides an interesting opportunity to present and discuss the latest theoretical advances and real-world applications in this multidisciplinary research field.

The conference proceedings will be published in Springer Serie Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence.
